February Clothing Drive

February 2011 | Academic Quandrangle, SFU Burnaby

Clothes are a basic necessity that all people should have. They keep us warm especially in these cold months of winter in Vancouver. People who are homeless, living on the streets, or in barely liveable conditions don’t have the luxury of having a lot of clothes in possession and often they are left to battle the harsh natural elements with little on their backs.

Get Involved

This February we will be collecting clothes, blankets, socks, gloves, etc. for those people who need it. Items old and new will be gratefully accepted. Items will be directly given away at the next few Backpack Runs on the Downtown East-side. We will be collecting donations on the week of February 21-25 in the AQ (near the big lecture halls). If you cannot make it, contact us and we will set up a time to pick up.

To volunteer to help with the collection of clothing contact our Volunteer Director, Brenton: brenton@beneathonesky.org
